Strange purple sphere at the bottom of the ocean

Unmanned underwater vessel Nautilus operated by Ocean Exploration Trust plunged into the last off the coast of Southern California to explore the sea bottom in the tectonically active region. Stumbled across something strange mysterious, purple sphere of unknown origin.

A ball that failed to be identified visually, therefore researchers decided to pull it to the surface where it will be subjected to careful study. Initial analysis has not shown anything beyond the fact that it has two clearly separated by hemispheres. Biologists, however, are very excited about, because I think it may have to deal with some completely new, unknown species.
