If Facebook will continue to exist in the year 2098, it can become the world’s largest “virtual cemetery”.
Now Facebook has around 1.5 billion users worldwide, but in the not so distant future, died on the platform may begin to displace. At this point, the number of new users coming here is the lowest in history. Statisticians predict that only in 2016 will die one million Facebook users.
After the death of the person concerned, Facebook account becomes a “ghost account”. The only people with access to the passwords are able to permanently delete profiles. Most people are not divided with a password to Facebook with your family or friends, because I tend not to think that it may be needed in the event of their death. This is a consequence of the fact that social networking is most people in young or middle age, which does not plan to bid farewells to the world.
Interestingly, if in the next few years a trend will not change, in the year 2098 on Facebook will have more people dead than living.
