EHang China is testing first drone-taxi

Chinese company got permission to start testing latestĀ invention. Company EHang responsible for the manned project Drone 184 got permission to start tests in the air-zone Nevada. So far, this was not possible due to lack of official permission from the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration). Huazhi Hu, founder and CEO of EHang called it “a major step” in the development of the manned drones and announced that his company’s ambition is to introduce the universal use of private flying vehicles of this type.

Drone EHang 184 was presented earlier this year in Las Vegas. The machine resembles the classic, radio controlled drone, but it is much larger and has in the Middle a small passenger cabin.
